Posted - 12/06/2012 : 09:13:18 Is there a way to list the floss used by the # of stitches used, so that I can see which colours are used the least which in turn helps with editing pieces?
Currently when I pull up the Floss usage via palette tools, the header buttons are clickable but they don't do anything to sort the floss usage list. It would really help me if you could use those buttons to sort the floss colours in the order needed.
If there's no way to do this, could I make this a suggestion for future versions to encompass? Thanks! |

Posted - 01/25/2014 : 21:45:02 CrossStitchGal... I'd like to thank you for posting this question. My problem was SIMILAR...yet a little different. It prompted me to do A LITTLE MORE looking around in the program than I had done already. & I found my answer... & YOURS ALSO.
Go to 'PALETTE TOOLS'... 'EDIT USER DEFINED SOURCE'.
A small window will open with a list of sorting options on the right side. The last one is 'USAGE'. Choose that option... hit 'RESET'... then close.
That will sort your floss according to how many stitches are done in a color... i.e. any colors with only 1 stitch will be first... any with 2 stitches will be second... & so on. |

Note that you lose the symbols for the colors in the spreadsheet because that cannot handle multiple fonts in this case.
You can use it to go with other information and maybe a "user-defined" order.
