Posted - 11/07/2011 : 21:01:55 Hi Diane.........i tried what u said about the overlapping stitches but it doesnt work. This is what i do......alet me know where i am going wrong. I go to file.....then import and get a pic. from my hard-drive. It opens up and i set the size, floss etc. Then click ok. Then i go to view ......display stitches as.....Blocks symbols. Then i remove the background stitches. Then i click on the Note icon and add a pic. of the original picture. Then i go to export....image file and then i un-check overlap and bring it down to 0. Then i click save, i name it and click save. Then i go to file.....print/preview then to print in the next box. The overlapping is still on the pattern. Somewhere along the line i am not doing something right. Thanks again. Cheryl |

Export overlap and print overlap are two different issues! When you print a file, you are printing the PCStitch file, NOT the exported image. There's a separate "overlap" option to the right when you print. That needs to be "unchecked".
Diane There is no such thing as a stupid question
