I have loaded a picture in PCStitch Pro and have done the modifications that I needed to make the picture look acceptable. The background color is very close to the picture but the faces are all the wrong colors. On screen it looks great but after actually doing the background (cross stitching) and then started on the face it is way to dark. I am doing a white man and woman, but PCStitch called out for 3778 terra cotta which is way to dark for them. Like I said, in the PCStitch program it looks good. But after cross stitching a little with each color it is just way to dark to look any good.
Basically all the colors the program called out for is to dark, but on screen it looks good. Are there any settings that I may have missed?

Eric,
You can't always tell by what you see on the monitor. There are too many contrast/brightness settings that can make it look good when it's not. You should go by the colors. It's possible that the photo you used may have had the faces in shadow and that would account for darker colors. The way the computer sees an image is not the same as what we see. It looks at the pixel totally independent of anything else.
You might need to start over or do replace all on the colors to get the colors you want. Be sure you save the base file first so you can go back to it to start over if needed.
