Hello,
Since few months I can't start PC Stitch anymore: at any try, I have to run my PC again (everything gets blocked). I have checked for a virus, but nothing.
I wanted to try with re-installing. Unfortunately, I got PC-Stictch pro9 2 years ago and cannot find my personal identification-number anymore (the one you send with the CD). How can I get it back? Of course, I already sent a mail to your support mail-address (and joined the invoice copy) on 15th october but got no reply. I need this programm for work and get very worried by now. What can I do?

Please help!

Many thanks

PCStitch files are not compatible with Adobe. .PAT and .PDF are different. You cannot open your pattern files in Adobe unless you have created a PDF form of the printed pattern.

Hi Gumelisch; thanks for your advice - I stitch better than I compute, too! I've got someone else to reinstall it for me this afternoon after completely re-formatting hard drive as prog couldn't be completely uninstalled. (Lost a lot of stuff doing that)
Question now is why is it trying to open PC Stitch pattern files using Adobe?

Thank you Dragonlair! I re-installed PC Stitch sucessfully only with the disk.
Anyway, I would be thankful if you could tell me how I can get my ident.no back: I guess I must use it when I'm not at home and work on another PC (?)

Daisy, if you wish you can send me a mail and I'd tell you how I have re-installed. At the origin, it had been done by a friend of mine (I stitch better than I use the PC) and I didn't know how he managed it. I just tried alone and it seems to work. You might be in the same case and if you mean it could be of any help I can describe to you (per mail or phone) what I have done, eventually in french, as I am french (and in France too).
Just arrived on the forum, I ignore if the users help each other directly, but I think it is OK(?)

Hi - I can't open PC Stitch Pro anymore - I'd installed it on an external hard drive as the laptop I'm using is a borrowed one. I keep getting a message saying there is no link or it does not recognise it. I can open other programs (Word) from the drive. I have tried re-installing the program with the disc, but without success. Can you please help? I was getting on SO well with it - fabulous program!

If you installed it from a CD, there is no code. You should be able to re-install it and then update to the latest version.
