Posted - 09/27/2010 : 05:07:20 Hi, a small bug again :) Import, when mapping colors to some Floss Palette. If you map colors to Floss Palette which is a subset of Available List chosen in a (disabled) field above, it is OK. If you choose a Floss Palette which is not a subset of Available List, you will see a correct preview but the result is mapped to the Available List colors with using the number of colors of the originaly chosen Floss Palette.
Hope, it makes sense. Example: Let's have "DMC Stranded Cotton" and "Anchor Cotton" as Available Lists and "DMC_Select_8" as a Floss Palette created from "DMC Stranded Cotton" List with using of 8 colors. When we have default "Anchor Cotton" List, we check the "map to Floss palette" radiobutton and select "DMC_Select_8" Floss. We can see correct result in preview (pattern made from DMC_Select colors). We press OK button and we have a pattern made from eight Anchor colors.
Really hope it make sense :). |

Diane There is no such thing as a stupid question

Posted - 11/26/2010 : 11:11:04 On a similar note, I was hoping that by adding all DMC, Anchor and Madeira flosses into one palettte I would be able to import a picture and map it to the combined palette, hopefully thereby getting a better colour selection but, the colours are only matched to one manufacturer. Is there any way round this? |
