Posted - 08/03/2010 : 15:11:33 If I use PCStitch alphabets in my own designs (such as the Pattern Pieces Alphabets I or any built in fonts) would it be a copyright infringement to sell the designs I made since I didn't design the alphabet? Or does PCStitch allow purchasers free use of the alphabets to use in our own designs that are to be sold? I haven't actually bought the program yet but I am considering buying it.

Posted - 08/03/2010 : 20:09:30 First, I would recommend you send an email to Mark Miller with the question. He is the only one who can answer the copyright issue.
I can tell you this, if you create something using any motifs from the Pattern Pieces and distribute it in PCStitch format, the recipient must have that motif's library installed to be able to open your pattern for copyright reasons.
