Now that I've collected all the PatternPieces, I was wondering if there was a way to print out the fonts without making a full chart one at a time. I'd like a simple notebook with my fonts to pick from and maybe rename the favorites so I can find them easier.
Thanx

You should be able to do it. You need to find it among the other fonts and then copy that to a disk or flashdrive or even email it.

However, don't try this with the Pattern Library fonts. They won't work! They are copyrighted and tagged to the owner (you).

Be careful even giving away any patterns you have created using any of the Pattern Library fonts or motifs. If the recipient doesn't have the rights to the library, they can't open the .pat file. The only way to share such patterns is in a pdf or other general format.

As Long as I got you, Diane, Can you save a created font to a disk? I made a font and want to share it with another PC User. Hoping she will make me something with them.

Thanks again

Those pattern piece library CDs (12 total) have been around for some years. I think the NEWEST are from 2003. As far as I know there are no plans to either add to them or to add any features to those that exist.

Probably your best bet is to make a series of smaller charts with each one being a group of samples of them.

As for renaming - be careful to note the original names somewhere and be aware that you have to FIND them. They may be in hidden folders!
