Hi. I joined artecy.com and enjoy the patterns they have to offer but would like to change the actual pattern to color symbols the patterns are for my personal use. Is there a way to change a PDF file?  |

It's actually a lot of fun! I have found it a great way to really get to know a pattern and decide if you really like it enough to "someday" stitch! With the size of many of our "virtual stash" piles, we need about 15 lifetimes to stitch everything!

As a hint - try to keep the size of the window as similar as possible between the two windows. I try to keep my PDF window (I use Foxit instead of Adobe) to have the same number of rows as I see in PCStitch Pro. That makes it easier to keep track where you are.
Also, save often! The last thing you want to happen is to crash or lose something after all your hard work!

Simply open your PCStitch and the file you want to work with and copy symbol by symbol from the *.pdf to the grid in your PCStitch.
And remember that you can't give copy of the converted design to anyone as the original designer still holds the rights.

I doubt there is an easy way (i.e. converter software), but there's always the possibility to convert the pattern manually by drawing it from the *.pdf.
