A few years ago, and a couple of computers ago, I purchased PCStitch 5.1 on CD via your website. I recently reinstalled my CD version on my latest computer system, and when I went to save a pattern idea I had worked some hours on, it prompted me for an unlock key, as well as my credit card number...

On your website, I read that with the CD version, I may not need an unlock key, since I should be able to install directly from the CD (which is what I did - after making sure that any possible older or related PCStitch files were removed from my system) without any codes.

Please assist me with this - I do not understand why I suddenly need an unlock key now when I had no issues installing the program on the computer system in between the first one it was on and this current one (in other words, this is the first time, I've ever been prompted by my CD instal to enter an unlock key and my credit card number...).

Thanks,
Moondancer

Thank you Mark! The uninstall and reinstalling did the trick. Your assistance is much appreciated!

There was a problem on the older CD's that would sometimes corrupt the PCStitch license file when daylight savings time changed. You should be able to re-register the software by reinstalling the CD.
