I'm new to all of this. How do you get a copyright when making your own patterns? How do I use this program on more then one computer? All my patterns are on my laptop I would really love to use my home computer with the larger screen. please help.

Nowadays, I think that just creating a pattern makes it copyrighted. You can add a note to that effect in the pattern properties.

To use the program on multiple computers -- install it on multiple computers. The unlock code will work multiple times. However, it's best if it is never used on multiple computers AT THE SAME TIME!

Your patterns on your laptop can be copied to the home computer and used there with no problems.
