I bought some time ago 10 PCStitch.
Can you tell me if there is a PROFESSIONAL version ??
The PCStitch PRO version is more complete than PCStitch 10 ??

This software will work acceptably for any craft that can be represented as a GRID. That includes beadwork (if the beads line up horizontally and vertically), Plastic Canvas, latch Hook Rugs as well as needlepoint and cross-stitch.
Crochet can be used if you're using the form that each row/column is in a grid format. Special stitches and combinations of single/double ... will not work.
Such as the Afghan stitch (now seemingly called Tunisian stitch) would work since it creates a grid like pattern that can even accept large cross-stitches.
All you have to to is mentally ignore the size of the stitches in the pattern and the estimates of materials used. Just remember that the software doesn't understand differences in sizes. To it, a stitch is a stitch. If you have the pattern designed and printed for 14 count canvas and decide to do it on 18 count, no problem! It will simply be smaller and use less materials.
That being the case, importing images to be used as crochet may be difficult because I do not think you can acceptably enlarge the representation of the stitches that much. The best imports have 1 stitch = 1 pixel so you would REALLY have a tiny image to convert!

I am looking for a program that I can use in order to create my own graphs for CROCHETING afghans and blankets of all sizes. Will this program do that? And if so, are the instructions easy to understand?
Also, will this program convert a photograph into a graph for crocheting?

PCStitch 10 is both standard and Professional.
For a long time, PCStitch 7 was considered "Standard" and PCStitch 8 was considered "Professional". With PCStitch 9, there were 2 versions; standard and professional.
It as a bit difficult to maintain 2 versions within one so the two were again merged with all the abilities of Professional for everybody with PCStitch 10.
It is an all encompassing and powerful version with all the abilities of the professional version on 9 and then some!
