I'm curious why DMC colors 01-35 are automatically at the top of the list when sorting the palette by color instead of being in their color families with the rest of the colors.
Is there a way to edit the palette to make them sort in color order?

The only idea I can think of is to make your own palette using DMC as base and order it the way you want. Save it and then load it when you want to use it.
Otherwise, with only a few colors involved, you can just move around the list as needed.
The sorting issue may be how the colors are defined. There may be something in them that doesn't fit the the normal families of colors.
