on my pcstitch used show color matching sign underneath my pattern. for some reason this has went away and is now just shows them when i hover over the sign. how can i get this back without having to hover over sign |

Ok,
If I understand you right, what is missing is the "Floss Palette". That is a panel. If that goes away (you probably clicked on the "x" at the far right at the top by accident), you can get it back Using the Panels option under View.
When you print the pattern (using the Print, not Export, option), there are options to print the palette on the right-most page of each level of a pattern (only page for simple pattern) or to print the information page. If you are not getting those items, check your print options.
As for the problems with Windows 10, I cannot help. The product is only designed to work with Windows 7 and at least Vista before that. Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 have been released since even the latest version of the product.
Also, I do not have Windows 10. The way you did it is the only way I would -- if my Windows 7 desktop or Windows 8.1 laptop crashed. I refuse to upgrade! As far as I know, they still haven't fixed the limitation of 512 shortcuts total for your entire system. I have over 1400 games installed on this machine besides other products and most products install several shortcuts!
If you cannot get the unlock code to take (try a reboot first), then contact Mark (find his profile on this board to send him an email).

Are you talking about the floss palette?
If yes, then all you need to do is go to view, panel, palette to get it back. |

if I print my pattern out will it have the colors and color numbers and what symbol goes with what color with my printed pattern?

At the bottom of the pattern was the symbols and what color each of the symbols was to be stitched in but now the symbols and their colors are not on the end of the pattern to be printed out with the pattern. and something else my pc crashed and I had windows 7 but now I have windows 10 and I don't have a place to put the unlock key. on the file I have no spot to put it in. and when I download pc stitch 10 my oper. system in windows 10 but on the box that pops up it says window 7 on it . (So help me obi/wan kenobi please you are my only hope.) thank you

I'm not sure I understand what you're talking about. What "color-matching sign"?
Could it be a panel or part of a panel. Please explain more of what you're referring to and how you use the feature.
