I started working with PCStitch 9 and created a couple of fonts. In each case, when I used the font in a pattern, random horizontal lines appeared; a few times there would be vertical lines also. I was able to find a few mistakes in the font files and removed the lines I could find, but random lines continued to appear.

I hoped the issue wouldn't affect PCStitch 10, but unfortunately it continues. When (re)creating the fonts I was especially careful not to make mistakes during the process, should there be lines I thought I had deleted but actually hadn't, but so far horizontal lines continue to appear in the pattern while I can't find any random lines in the font file.

Thanks. I think I'll send files from PCS9 also. I'll post after I hear back, in case anyone else ever has the issue.

I suggest you contact Mark on this issue.

When you send him an email, I suggest you include the stitched font file you created and the pattern that uses the font file.

Give him a complete description of what extra lines appear and where and maybe include a screenshot showing the problem.

I have no idea except for having you have the developer check it.

Good Luck,

Diane
