i am having a terrible time. i have a photo of my dog that as a last resort i converted him to a black and white in photoshop cs6. when i imported him into pc stitch 10 - I STILL GOT PINK AND GREEN floss colors!

HOW CAN THIS BE???????

i understand the program doesn't see colors as we do - but come on....black and white???

i seriously need some help understanding this.

I've seen the same thing. Unfortunately, there are only so many shades of gray. I did a "wedding cake topper" conversion some years ago for a contest and it was totally black and white. I had quite a few yellow and purple shadings included.

During the tweaking, I just converted them to what seemed to fit the picture best.
