I have had pc stitch 10 for a bit and have done a number of patterns, and I do love it...but I have problems with colors. When I do a pattern I find it does not come out with the colors in the picture. Like I did one of a lady with a red coat and green gloves. but when I made the pattern the gloves came out grey. And same with other patterns, I have tried using more or less number of colors and that does not help. I just wonder if I am missing something.

I change the size of picture to the size of pattern I want etc. Just thought maybe there is a little trick I am missing.

thanks

As I have said many times -- the computer sees color differently than you or I do. It's just a simple fact that you have to accept. Also, the number of shades in any given color family to the odd colors at times are just a guess by the software.

The key -- as I've said many time and posted many times is to make your image the same size in pixels as your desired pattern is in stitches. the image will appear tiny but it is the best case. Just have computer convert 1 pixel to a color stitch is far less chancy than having it blend 4 or 9 or whatever pixels into a single color!

Good Luck,

Diane
There is no such thing as a stupid question
