I'm new to PCStitch, but finding my way around ok.

One questions I have is...
If I drag a pre-made pattern into my project, is there a way that PCStitch will replace the pre-selected colors to my list of available colors?...or do I have to do this manually?

That's what I suspected. Thank you Diane!

That has to be done manually with replacements. If they happen to be the same colors, there may be issues with multiple symbols for the same color.

Since patters are simply codes for colors in given areas, the computer has absolutely no way to know that you want what looks like red in a pattern copied in to be purple in your base pattern. There is simply no way! (colors used are just examples).

Even using the motif library will add the motif's colors to your palette.

There is no such thing as a stupid question
