Posted - 03/19/2014 : 02:15:03 I have imported original art, tweaked it so it looked the way I wanted and was stitch ready. I went to print my design, it is large, 19"w x 12"h and the legend has colors not being used in the pattern. They were there at one time but I reduced the number of colors from over 100 to 45 by identifying where the colors were and changing them deleting the now unused color by right clicking in the pattern floss pallet and choosing to remove unused colors. Note, the colors that don't exist in the pattern are not in the floss pallet so I don't know how to find them to get rid of them assuming they are there. Any help in figuring out how to get these unused colors to not show up in my legend will help. Right now my only choice is to edit the legend by hand, crossing out the stitches that should not be there and then going line by line through the pattern to make sure they are not actually in the pattern so I can get to work. A tedious job I am not relishing. |

Posted - 03/19/2014 : 07:31:55 You say they don't show in the floss palette but do in the print? I've never heard of that.
There is no way you can access colors not in the palette.
For the colors you have, there is the remove unused colors and I would try that again.
You can also turn on highlight to see if there actually are colors.
You can also, from the floss usage chart see how many stitches it thinks there are for each color and use that.
If you have colors in your printed version that are not seen in your palette (note that it does scroll, if needed), the I would contact Mark on the issue.
Diane There is no such thing as a stupid question
