Posted - 02/11/2014 : 19:45:20 Can someone please help me with this. I select stitches size like 30 x 30 and then remove the dark grid line every 10 boxes then I import a picture that is 2.5 inches and when I import the picture the graph changes from 30x30 to 100x 100 and the picture is still tiny and the thick gridlines appear. I cant get the chart to stay at the number of stitches I wont like 30x30 stitches. can someone please help me with this. Thanks |

Posted - 02/11/2014 : 20:17:39 Marking every 10 stitches is a global setting but there is a different displayed grid size for each pattern. When you import a pattern you tell it the size you want.
In general, you want to make your image the same number of pixels/side that you want stitches. If you want a 30 x 30 stitch pattern (tiny), you want an image 30 x 30 pixels (even more tiny). Yes it's tiny but one pixel/stitch gives the best over all image. Even then, some tweaking is needed.
