When I open an existing pattern, it's "window" is only partially displayed and viewable (half of it is "hidden" under my available colors palette panel that I have docked on the left hand side). I have to now drag the pattern window to the middle of my screen each time I open a new pattern to work with. Also, when I "minimize" or open a second one up, that first one gets completely "lost" under all of my docked panesl. I have to close out all of the panels to restore the pattern to work with. It used to never open up this way. How do I get the pattern to open more towards the right hand side or the middle of my screen again? And be able to minimize it and get it back again easily without having to close all of my docked panels?

There is a window menu option where you can "rearrange" any open windows. That might help. If you have the active window "maximized", it starts to the right of any docked open options so that might help as well.

I tried finding this "rearrange windows" option and can't find it. Can you tell me where it is?

I see in the "window menu" where there is something to arrange icons, which doesn't do anything for my pattern window. And when I've picked any of the other options (cascading, vertically, horizontally), it doesn't "fix" my issue. It ends up maximizing my pattern window. In order to move back and forth with the pattern, I need to close out my docked panels. And if I minimize the pattern, I can't bring it back up again without closing out my docked panels. I've already tried saving everything once I had the design window in place where I wanted it. When I reopened the pattern, it did not stay the same, but instead went back to the same problem as I'm currently having.

Window positions are not saved. They are dynamic. The only docked panel I have is the floss palette of the current design at the bottom. I always have the window I'm using maximized. When I open the next time, it is a window within the box so I have to maximimize it again.

I have never had that bottom panel cause any problems with any positioning of a window.

Because of the dynamics, I'm not sure there is a solution for your problem at this time.

I've never had a problem with it until now either. On the bottom of mine is also the docked palette. And if I minimize the pattern I'm working on, it gets lost behind the docked palette panel instead of being placed right above it. It used to not do this...
