Morning, Everyone!

I created a pattern of a maple tree in glorious fall colors several years ago, and would like to modify this pattern to reflect how it would appear in the summer -- i.e. with full green leaves, etc. but the background remaining the same. Is there any way for PC stitch to isolate every block in a color group and allow me to modify the colors at one time - following carefully the subtleties in the color arrangement but replacing deep copper with emerald green, for example, as opposed to making the modifications onesey-twosey.

I'll try and attach an image as an example!

I appreciate any and all help or suggestions!!!

I’d love to see “Bright October Day”. What forum category would have it?

You can create a new color (such as your emerald green) and select the old color and you can REPLACE either all instances of one color with the other color or all instances within a pre-selected area.

I can never remember which order you select the colors; old then new or new then old.

That may be what you need.

BTW - I did an image of three trees together in full fall colors that I called Bright October Day. You should be able to see it in the designs in PCStitch 11 that are provide by individual users.

And no - I don't know how to insert an image into this software either. It's always been a pain but this software is somewhat "antique".
