I am using a 28 count linen cloth i am using 2 threads it seems to be to much when i go back in the hole its real hard to get threw should i only use 1 strand? thanks

28 count linen is often stitched "over 2" giving the effect of 14 count. At 14 count effect, it should be 2 or three strands for coverage. Otherwise the background cloth shows through too much. If it is over 1 (really 28 stitches/inch), it should be 1 strand. It gets too bulky at more with that size.
