I'm modifying an existing piece to reflect the change in seasons, and making use of the Selection Tool -- and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to turn the thing OFF -- I know I'll feel quite foolish when the solution is pointed out, but for now.....I'm stuck with my only recourse to close out the program, and begin again!

Help!!!

I KNEW there would be an obvious solution -- color me embarrassed!

Many thanks!!!

To turn off the selection tool (box drawn to mark section of pattern), simply click on the "stitch type" you want - generally the full cross-stitch right below the selection tool option.

There is no such thing as a stupid question
